There are two slightly different instructions published by RE, I am not sure why.

what is it with you and computers .šŸ˜«šŸ˜«šŸ˜«
you just click on them and then give it a few seconds, these are PDFs, they need a bit to download, then they will open automatically in you browser - at least they do in mine.

step 3, remove the Battery!
No mention of needing an Oxy Acetiline set, my racks have been fitted once already but will not just go back on, needs bending.

Such a sissy, use the RE universal tool and make it fit!

The instructions distinguish between "Model: Himalayan" (1990201) and "Model: Himalayan & Scram 411 - Starting VIN No.
Starting VIN No - ME3D4A5F1MA" (1990259).

This suggests that the 259 version is the update primarily intended for newer (Euro 5?) models.

So there were changes to the Frame ?

Which Instructions are for the Pannier Racks that have been Sat on by a Elephant ? Is that year sensitive šŸ™ƒ

Thanks for assembling the two manuals here, I was looking into the same thing!
Turns out the only difference seems to be an added spacer (step 11) and rubber mount (step 21) for the Scram. It doesn't seem like a different frame.
