Today for no real reason I thought to check the power output of a 2016 Classic 350.
AI, doesn't know the difference between the UCE and the Reborn, here are some screenshots of the intellectual regurgitation of AI.
Actual specs,

Note that an ECU is not mentioned.
This what AI answers when asked.

And they QUOTE a Video by Hitchcocks of a a reborn 350!

OHC ? some of us know the difference.

on a layman level AI is kinda my hobby. That means I can't code it but understand to some degree the underlying mechanisms.
First off there NO "understanding" of the "reality" we live in (at all) - zero "consciousness". And there will never be. Not because our chips are not fast enough or any other technical limitation but inherently, its a limit like the speed of light. Makes no sense until you understand what consciousness entails.
How good AI is in answering your questions is primarily dependent on the data it is trained on. There will never be a 100% guaranteed flawless answer because that would require a real understanding of the greater world, including aspects that are even hidden from our "dayjob" mind.
In a limited environment with a limited task AI can do very well. Thats why it will replace some repetitive jobs that do not require any creativity or great flexibility beyond the parameters set by the task environment.
AI driven robots will work in factories and other places, maybe even homes and hospitals. If they are made human like they can certainly be "polite" and very useful but never really understanding what they are doing and why in a deeper sense. There is no "I" in the sense of self recognition. Of course it can simulate such "self" and gullible humans can and will fall for it (robot girlfriends come to mind).
There can be misguided robots with weapons - and they can be lethal. But that is the humans responsibility, not that of the AI.

Where can I get one of the Girlfriends ;)

This explains why we do not want AI,
Basically it hijacks the search engines and gives answers rather than links to follow for information.

Sorry it's English or some Irish version of English

AI and the Circular Economy.
Makes as much sense to me as Deritives which also led to bad outcomes

Well, I have played with Grog and asked it some quite complex questions. I did not expect too much but in some cases was surprised by how precise the answers where. I give you one example:

If there was a earth size planet where the asteroid belt is now and it was destroyed by a sudden explosion, not a slow breakup, and this happened 1 million years ago how much in % of its original mass would still be found there.
It took Grog almost 10 minutes to do the calculations and while it was working it displayed the logic it used plus finally also the source code it used for the calculations.
For those interested: the result was 7% which does not match what we think the belt contains today in consolidated mass (its much less)
and I am sure a human proficient in celestial mechanics and geology of a planetary crust and a few other items of interest could have come up with the same result - but not in 10 minutes. And I am not even on the paid tier, just a freeloader.
This is a down to earth question that relies mostly on know laws of physics and secure data about the elements involved.

The picture is very different if you ask about e.g. the probability of the reality of Telepathy (100%) or remote viewing (100%) or the visitation of aliens in this solar system today (as good as 100%) it will give you ridiculously low values that are totally off kilter. From this I deduct it will reflect mainstream accepted stuff and it will also not learn if you correct it. AI today has a very short memory. It may remember a session that was immediately before the current but not what happened yesterday and not even what happened 5 minutes ago if a different user gave that information. I tried with verifiable data that it got wrong the first time, I corrected it, but in a follow up I was served the same wrong info again.

There is another problem with AI - more into the future:
today search engines, mostly google, are still used by the majority. But as AI answers get better and usually are more encompassing and more to the point (google serves you a lot of advert slush before it gets to the point) ppl will lean more and more towards AI - until search engines go the way of GOPHER (if anyone recalls that tool from the early days of the Internet). At that point everybody has a problem:
AI gives great answers because it can scan the net and use search results more effectively than humans - but it ultimately relies on those sources.
If nobody asks questions in forums or reddit or facebook anymore because using AI is so much easier and faster - there will be no new data to leach for AI. Answers will only encompass old stuff that is already in the training data. So if new facts of life come up where will it get it from?
In such a scenario the usefulness of AI will be greatly diminished.

As will the water and electricity supply.
The "Cloud" is a Data centre that almost silently destroys the resources of many to profit few.

Not sure how much electrical power and drinking water it takes to completely remove someone's cloths but ask AI

well, it does not really remove any cloth. AI is not intelligent, it can not even look at the "other" side of a milk carton (unless the entire picture is in the training data) so it "invents" the naked part. Bad enough.
But there have been other tools to do that, with famous (female) actors etc.etc. There have been lawsuits but it often is hard to find the real source.
I guess as long as porn exists there will be people supplying it, AI or no AI.

There is anther aspect of this story: ANY existing AI can do that if properly "jail broken". Not just Grok. But of course Elon has exposed himself to the wrath of the leftist media - which has a history of "cancel culture" inclination to be polite. In that sense Elon is right.
AI is a tool. Like any other tool it can be used for lots of useful stuff (like medical research) or misused like in this case.
Do I need to quote the knife that can slice bread and kill grandma?

AI is going to be used to make a few incredibly wealthy at the expense of the rest.
It has already consumed too much of the available capital, power and water IMO.

If this would continue, then yes. But it's a new technology. I guess if today s Diesel cars would spout black smoke like in the 1930s you would drive an electric car.
Afaik it's planned to move the entire operation off planet, which would at least solve that problem.
Any useful new tech made a few rich in the early stages, no different to much stuff you and I take for granted today.

quite the opposite, currently the chance of a bubble = loss of investment, is far greater - paid AI makes no profit as of now.
OK, those who invested in chip manufacturers and did this early enough, made a big profit.

Here we go again, rich people telling us what's best for us?
Killing Grandma is as easy as putting her in a Nursing Home in the West.
You don't need a knife!
I agree with Elon also, "Wont be America anymore " but what will it be?

No mention of " Jail breaking" and it singles out Grok as the culprit, of course Grok put it down to LML ( legacy media lies), going to Mars is a great idea and I hope we can see him off shortly :ROFLMAO:
