DUM DUM BULLET

Doesent get in the way .

Base line today!
It will, hopefully, be way South of the 25.6RWHP recorded last week

20251209_100329.jpg
What appears to be a 5.3 increase in RWHP at peak.

Unimpressive if we believe Hitch who claims more with just the cam. As you are using the same cam I wonder what has happened here.

btw: took the pic from this "how to install the cam" video

Look at the difference at 4500rpm compare that Hitchcocks.

That is roughly a 25% increase in horsepower and a 35% increase in torque.
Torque is what is transmitted to the Butt, certainly a different beast to stock.
How much more can be gained is yet to be answered.

AFR readings are interesting, stock it went rich at high RPM under WOT and tuned with fx and pt4 went lean!

For me to watch? Surely not!
Hitchcock's may be lying! ;)
Reading these charts can be challenging but the thing to look for is the difference between the lines, this chart shows a 33% increase in torque, unfortunately the Hitchcock's chart doesn't show torque and they "add" to the scales with a decat pipe and free flow cover.
Not exactly Apples vs Apples.

8HP increase at 3500rpm compared to less than 1.5HP on the Hitchcock's chart!

The Guerrilla/Himalayan 450 has just 40Nm of torque compared to my 475cc with 42.8!
Just saying ;)

This is what they call " beating your own Drum", but noise is noise.
Interceptor 650 makes 52 Nm around 5000rpm, the Chart's of my Dyno shows 42 at 3300rpm ;)

I have had 3 Delkovic Header pipes and Butchered all of them.
This is the latest victim.

The Himalayan Header had a reduction at the end to take a stock Muffler ( why anyone would buy a Header pipe and fit a stock Muffler is beyond me)
The only Header available to me here was one that was sold as a complete system for the Meteor and for some reason went from 45 OD to 51OD at the end and used a 2inch or 51mm Muffler.
Well it did!

This time I found a use for the "offcut".
I made a bespoke Stainless Steel Brake Master Cylinder Reservoir Cover .

Looks even better the right way up

Dyno booked for tomorrow,
350cc with,
Cam
Stock air filter with open filter cover
Delkevic Header( for Meteor!)
45mm "Hot Dog Muffler" (from a car exhaust shop)
Fx pro+, set at 5, so 2 clicks up from Stock.

Stock 350 made 20.35RWHP and 23.49ft pounds torque
I will be happy with 13% and not too disappointed if it is less as I was going to change it anyway :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:.
How many times can I reuse the Head bolts is a part of this quest.

16% HP increase with more power after 5000rpm than stock.
Ignore the Black line.

Not disappointed with the result but decided to fit my new 442cc barrel with the Suzuki burgman piston using the head I modified for the 475cc.
Using the 475cc Map developed on the Dyno with Fx set at 5.
Compression was 165psi prior to first run and I expect it to go up as it runs in.
When I get through a tank full I will book a dyno run.
So far it runs well with the AFR showing 13.5 to 14.5.
Torque increase is noticeable.
Head bolts have been reused about 8 times now!

Getting a few kms in before the next Dyno run which is booked for this Friday.
Accommodation is at a premium in Australia with silly prices asked and paid.
Found this while getting lost ,

Oddly it has a full set of new tyres!

With all this extra power I need wind protection ;)
So got this from AE spares in India.

Results so far, the wind at 100+kph is no longer putting a strain on my arms but the noise generated requires earplugs,
I do not feel the buffeting on my Helmet but I certainly hear it.
So I have ordered a small clip on screen to attach to the top hoping I can deflect the wind.
If that is not successful I will try shortening the screen.
I have done 330 kms since fitting the 450 kit( 442 is close to 450 with is a more rounded number), I have noticed some vibration around and above 105kph which is not a game changer as I can go back to my taller gearing to avoid this and rarely go that fast anyhow.
Dyno booked for this Friday at which time I will book another to be done with the OEM camshaft.

Cant keep still, My Mum used to call it "fidgeting".
Slight mod to the Muffler, if nothing else it is Uneque 😁
