Himalayan Panniers - better and cheaper

I have been talking to a Pannier factory which makes Panniers that are qualitatively at par with the OEM ones. They use a strong version of some plastic material for the boxes which can take some abuse (fall etc.) without deforming and the workmanship is top.
The only downside I could find was the locking mechanism to the carrier which was a bit cumbersome and required a tool to mount/dismount the box from the carrier. I solved this problem with a 3d printed version of the RE mechanism - now it functions in exactly the same simple and fast way as the RE OEM boxes do.

• There are few additional advantages over OEM:
• the price is 30% less than the RE version in India and includes my hand made 3d printed locking mechanism
• they sell one box (RE only sells them in pairs) - could be an issue if one box breaks or get stolen
• they sell you a lock (cheap!) - if you ever lose both keys you can simply swap the lock
• while RE has used rivets to fix the lock they bolt theirs - so exchange is a breeze

I can also provide the OEM carrier at 25% over cost price from RE (55 Euro) if bought together with the Panniers. That way shipping will be cheaper than getting the stuff separately.
