We have postponed the Spiti crossing for now because we have 3 inexperienced riders in our group and the rainy season has already made the trip quite arduous if we went now. Alternatively we will attempt it again in June 2024 before the rains.
It is still quite a challenge with about 120km of no-road and occasional water crossings (but none as dramatic as this one I am told):
