you have PMdid you try installing on your himalayan bs6. Where are you located?
I run 95 where I can get it. but i will fill up once to test if the lousy standard fuel we get here might be enough.200psi is getting into premium fuel territory.
In my head? while I ride? no sir LOLYou can easily calculate revs from road speed with Gear Commander.
I only use full synthetic - on all of my bikes from day one.did you change the oil grade?
so is the head different to 411 and if so will retrofitting 411 head on to 440 resolve the issue ?On my recent trip to Gangotri in the high mountains I was forced to fill up with the "normal fuel" here which officially has RON 91 although fuel tampering is rampant and you never really know what you get. I immediately experienced knocking although my tank was still 1/3 filled with X95.
I filled up again with X95 at approx 50% so the mix in my tank should have been somewhat near 95 but I still experienced knocking although less.
The 500cc otherwise runs great with the stock ECU - so I do not consider getting the PT V4 for it.
Because X95 is not available everywhere - or actually not available in most stations I will buy a new head and get it scrapped out to reduce compression. I may also consider FuelX Pro although that seems a bit counter intuitive bc open loop is when you accelerate and that is also when knocking happens. But first the head mod.
the head is different. if you have a 411 and fit the 440 cylinder it will still work. I have a 440 - the reason I mod the head is only bc I take out some material so the volume gets bigger and the compression lowerso is the head different to 411 and if so will retrofitting 411 head on to 440 resolve the issue ?
