Fuel pump replacement - cheap

Speaking as someone who is silly enough to do it when it wasnt required, I could definitely reassemble it in 10 mins but I have yet to test that. ;)

because it is a Pig to pull apart, it was not designed to be taken apart!
It was Designed to be put together like so many consumables in our lives.

Holding the pump up to the computer screen, I just then compared it to a picture of one for a PCX-150 2012 and decided to buy it to see if I am right.
Big Gamble it is not, Amazing town want 14 times the price and I doubt theirs are Keihin.
Shipping time is stated as 15 Days, I will have more to say then

Well those pics show the unit was intended to have a fuel sender mounted, at least the half on the Inlet side. pic2.
Pic4 shows the Pump to confirm that the Outlet is Offset and the position of the wires.
So it may have been fitted to any number of Bikes produced in the last decade or so.
Keihin supplied the Throttle Body, ECU, fuel pump.

This could be made to fit!
It was bought for a Honda.

Thank you. How much are these motors for? I am opening up my fuel pump today and maybe will just keep one in spare.
 
I dont know. we are not selling in India so check amazon.in or flipcart
 
Pressure is controlled by the valve on the housing not the pump
 
A lot of the electrical stuff on this bike is I imagine old Japanese technology, the pumps the ECU etc,
I have a Gauge that reads the Pressure of the pumps at the outlet and have used it for reference. I think it hits around 40 psi then drops a bit when it is Dead Headed into a Gauge with nowhere to go ( except of course thru the Pressure Relief valve into the tank)

True. Dead head is OK for reference but a gauge t'd in series with flow at a given rpm determines true operating pressure. We do a lot of EFI system rigging and adjustments at work and I was going to compare the two pumps on our equipment there.
