Fuel pump replacement - cheap

I've received the replacement pump core yesterday and got it fit. Yes it does improve fuel pressure and flow a lot, of course it is with brand new filter strainer. However here're somethings I don't like about this pump core:
1. It does not fit the filter strainer platic at first. The input nozzle diameter is about 7.3-7.5mm which is slightly bigger than the stock pump 7.0mm. I had to spend 10 mins with sandpaper to make it fit.
2. It is noisy, which worry me about the endurant of new pump core.
3. It won't stop flowing when switched off (the stock pump does). It will be unconvenience when disconnecting the fuel tank since fuel will leak.

I have this replacement running since ca. 10k km. not eternity but long enough to not be worried about endurance in the face of the OEM that lasted only ca. 8k km before failure. That it does not fit is strange because mine did fit 100% and so far nobody else complained about the fitting issue (with 20+ sold). Maybe an outlier (hopefully). Most ppl who order this pump motor or a new complete pump have relatively low km, so my suspicion is the OEM isnt that great either.

do you have the leaking problem? when disconnecting the hose, fuel won't stop leaking thru the pump nozzle.
I don't see such problem with the old factory pump.

Pump either has a Check Valve or it doesn't. It will not affect its performance.
Inconvenient, well it makes draining the Tank easy but I can see the disadvantages. ;)
After spending time rectifying the mis- match in size it is only normal you have a " tender ear".
How does it ride?
